GFPS Library Refund Policy

The GFPS policy in place for book refunds is that lost books may be submitted to the library for refund if they are found within 60 days of payment. If a lost book is found and returned within this time frame then we are able to refund your money. If the book is returned after the sixty day limit we would not be able to refund your money since the money would have already been used to purchase another copy of the book. If you have any questions, please contact me at 268-6734. Thank you for your support of the library.

Resources and eBooks

Here are some resources you can use for something to do, options for books to read, and resources for help with information. Links for all of these can be found below. Please make sure and talk with your parents about these before you begin downloading apps and joining in trials. They should be helping you to do this.

World book online allows students to search for topics and information in a safe environment. It includes photos and videos on many different topics and areas. This program is also set up by grade levels, so it is easy to use for each grade. The login and password can be found in your Google classroom library group or contact Mrs. Orr.

SORA is a student reading app that allows students to be able to borrow audiobooks and eBooks from a shared Montana digital collection with other schools, as well as automatic access to these same items through our public library.

EPIC
Epic is a good site for online books. Students have free access to this with a teacher login code. This can be found in their Google Classroom or contact me for this if you need it.  You can also get a free 30-day trial and then it is $7.99 a month, but you get access to over 40,000 online kids books.

Mrs. Orr's epic code is URI3783. The pin is the first four digits of your school ID number.

Allows me to communicate with parents about books, behavior and events such as book fair. I also use this to give behavior points to students in library which they can then trade in prizes.

Access and search for what is in our school's library collection (Lewis & Clark's library catalog).
Overdrive is another app that is free and you can borrow either eBooks or audio books from the public library. You just need to have a public library card/number to join the MontanaLibrary area for this program.

Scholastic
Year-Round Book Fair

You can also still purchase books online through our Scholastic book fair with some of the proceeds still going back to our school. Order here.
